The Donor Relations Division in Headquarters is the primary contact point for questions relating to donor liaison with traditional and non-traditional donors including the private sector. DRD can provide support in mobilizing resources (financial, in-kind), identifying the most appropriate donor counterpart, assess the donors' priorities and ensure compliance with specific donor requirements.

The IOM Special Liaison Office in New York is a useful resource for the development of CERF proposals. In the event that a new crisis emerges, or a protracted crisis further deteriorates, and a humanitarian coordinated response ensues, CERF funding might become available for the emergency response.
